The story of Medallion Tag

It all started with our son, Enzo.

He used to ask us to write our phone number on something — “just in case I get lost at the arcade,” he’d say. And honestly, we understood. In crowded places, it’s easy to lose sight of each other, and the fear is real — for him and for us as parents.

So we created something just for him: a tag he would actually want to wear.

We turned one of his own drawings into a wearable pendant and added an NFC chip inside, so if he ever needed help, someone could scan it and contact us.

He loved it — and we realized other families might need that same kind of peace of mind.

Later, we designed a tag for our French bulldog, who was blind and sometimes got out without us noticing.

Sadly, we made it too late — he’s no longer with us. But that moment made us even more certain: a simple tag can make a difference.

That’s how Medallion Tag was born: a mix of love, creativity, and smart design to help protect what matters most — whether it walks on two legs or four.
